- Gather Dandelion tops in the morning. Rinse and pat dry.
- Heat cast iron skillet and melt coconut oil for frying.
- Combine egg, milk, and flour in a bowl and mix to remove lumps. Add optional sweeteners or herbs.
- Prepare a skillet on the stove with coconut oil over medium heat.
- Twirl the flower into the batter until covered.
- Place it into the skillet, petals down, and brown each side. Keep fritters warm in the oven.
- Serve hot, drizzled with maple syrup or raw honey.

Use fresh, young dandelion greens for the best flavor.
